Cougars jumped out to a 23-13 1st quarter lead behind 9 points from John Cannon. The lead extended to 18 by halftime behind the Cougar defense and 8 more points from Cannon. The 6’10 senior missed only 2 shots from the field as he scored 28 points with 13 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. More Heritage in the second half as the starters rested the 4th cruising to a 35 point win over the Patriots. Alex Biggerstaff added 13 points. Dillion Vess playing in his last home game (due to upcoming elbow surgery) contributed 5 rebounds and 4 points. Tyson Tomberlin, Matthew Kardulis and Trenton Burleson led the defense which held Madison to 25% shooting. They combined for 6 steals and 4 drawn charges. Daulton Woody had 4 rebounds and 1 point. Drew Hoilman had 4 rebounds and 5 points. Matthew Kardulis who is getting healther every day led the team in assists with 5 and scored 3 points. Burleson added 3 assists to go with 6 points.
