For the second consecutive night the Cougars jumped out to a large halftime lead 38-21. John Cannon 13, Alex Biggerstaff 9 and Drew Letterman 5 led the way. Heritage was able to put Mitchell away behind more Cannon 11, Biggerstaff 8 and Letterman 6. Trenton Burleson, Matt Kardulis, Zander Silvers and Cannon led the charge defensively. Cannon contributed 24 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocked shots. Kardulis, 3 steals 2 assists, 1 drawn charge and 5 points. Burleson a defensive stopper helped hold high scoring Corey Greene to 4 points. Drew Letterman led the team in assists with 4 to go with his 11 points. Alex Biggerstaff added 8 rebounds to go with his 17 points. Tyson Tomberlin recorded 5 rebounds and 5 points. Other scoring: Brian Krause 2, Spencer Bishop 2, Zander Silvers 1.
