2A Track Regionals at North Henderson
May 8th 2010

Both the Heritage girls and boys placed 15th out of 23 teams. The girls received 22 points and the boys 17.

Bekah Hagerman placed 3rd in the discus at the 2A Track Regionals on May 8 with a throw of 86.04. She also placed 6th in the shot put with a throw of 30.325.

Pennylane Buckner, a sophomore, who has qualified for the 2A track state meet in the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles. Pennylane ran a 16.68 in the 100m hurdles placing her 2nd. Then in the 300m hurdles Pennylane placed 4th with a run of 50.61.

Trevin Miller and Casey Peterson. Both young men threw the shot put at the regional track meet on May 8 at North Henderson. With 23 2A schools represented in WNC Trevin placed 2nd with a throw of 49.10 ft. Casey placed 4th with a throw of 47.0. Casey also threw the discus with a throw of 116.02 placing him 9th and Taylor Fender placed 13th with a throw of 104.02 ft.

Stuart Johnson, who has had a pulled hamstring attempted the 200m preliminary and placed 7th qualifying him for the 200m finals.
He came in 5th placed.
